K-1 Supply List 2008-2009
Welcome to another exciting year at Sand Pine Elementary. We recognize that times are tight for everyone, so please note that we have prioritized the needs in this years supply list. Some of these supplies will be collected and used for the entire class throughout the year.
Please do not label these supplies with your child’s name. Some teachers may request additional items as needed.
*On registration day, the PTA will be selling pre-packaged boxes that include all of the supplies listed below.
Each student needs to bring:
- 1 white three-ring binder with plastic covering (1-inch wide)
- 5 pocket folders with prongs – red, green, blue, yellow, purple and green (plastic if possible)
- 2 composition notebooks
- 24 sharpened pencils with erasers (No mechanical pencils)
- 2 boxes of 16 Crayola crayons
- 2 boxes of washable markers
- 6 glue sticks
- 1 4oz. bottle of Elmer’s glue
- 1 pair of children’s scissors (Fiskar)
- Primary composition books (space at the top for drawing)
- Hand sanitizer
- Antibacterial wipes (e.g., Lysol, Clorox)
- Tissues
No Trapper Keepers, please!
For ongoing classroom needs, any of the following would be appreciated:
- Paper towels
- Paper cups
- Band-aids
- Ziploc Bags (snack, quart, and gallon size)
- Xerox paper
- Dry erase markers (e.g., Expo)
