Philanthropy Chair

Description: Recommend a fall and spring service project. Coordinate and the
follow-through the projects. Obtain funds, coordinate the purchase of gifts for ABC
families and work with the school

Responsibilites

  1. Recommend two special service projects consistent with PTA objectives.
  2. Obtain funds, through public and private means, to support the PTA newsletter and
    special service projects, if needed.
  3. Attend all Executive Board and General Assembly meetings - and notify Vice
    President when unable to do so.
  4. Submit a written work plan for the year to the Executive Committee for approval as
    well as any changes to the plan during the year.
  5. Prepare and submit a budget to the Budget Committee prior to its planning meeting.
