4th & 5th Grade Supply List 2008-2009
Welcome to another exciting year at Sand Pine Elementary. We recognize that times are tight for everyone, so please note that we have prioritized the needs in this years supply list. Some of these supplies will be collected and used for the entire class throughout the year. Each 4th & 5th grade student will need to bring the following items with them on the first day of school.
*On registration day, the PTA will be selling pre-packaged boxes that include all of the supplies listed below.
Each student needs to bring:
- 2 white three-ring binders with plastic covering (1-inch wide) No Trapper keepers please!
- 1 white three-ring binder with plastic covering (2-inch wide
- 3 pocket folders with prongs – 2 of each color: red, green, blue, yellow, purple and green
- 3 packages of wide-ruled notebook paper
- 1 package of plastic pocket dividers
- 1 package of regular tabbed dividers
- 2 composition notebooks
- A pencil box filled with the following items for your child’s personal use:
- 24 sharpened pencils with erasers (No mechanical pencils)
- 2 boxes of 16 Crayola crayons
- 1 box of colored pencils
- 1 box of washable markers
- 4 glue sticks
- 1 pair of children’s scissors (Fiskar)
- Highlighters (3 colors)
- Colored pens for editing
- Ruler with inches and centimeters
- Personal pencil sharpener
Highly recommended, but not required – A personal USB flash drive
For ongoing classroom needs, any of the following would be appreciated:
- Hand sanitizer – BIG NEED
- Antibacterial wipes (e.g. Lysol, Clorox) BIG NEED
- Baby wipes
- Paper towels
- Paper cups
- Band-aids
- Ziploc Bags (snack, quart, and gallon size)
- Xerox paper
- Dry erase markers (e.g., Expo)
